Financial Services Representative - Central Business Services at Swedish Medical Group in Seattle
The Financial Services Representative plays a vital role on the Central Business Services team, demonstrating the Swedish values of patient-centered care and service; respect, caring and compassion; teamwork and partnership; continuous learning and improvement; and leadership.
In this position you will:
Maintain patient accounts, billing, collections, billing adjustments, credit, and third-party payments
Assist patients with financial applications, including charity care and establish payment plans.
Identify third party resources available for financial assistance.
Interpret and communicate credit policies and procedures
Ensure a high level of customer service at all times
qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2 or more years medical billing and collections
Current knowledge of collection laws and regulations
Experience providing customer service in a health care organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and problem solve independently
Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service
