The Subject Matter Specialist – Financial and IT Improvement and Audit Readiness will assist financial managers in their decision-making processes by providing relevant and reliable financial information to help our government customer meet the requirements of the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR).
· Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance - or Interim Secret!
· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline
· A minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience
· Experience with one or more of the following:
o Military Payroll, RBA&E, Contracts (Vendor Pay), Contracts (MOCAS), MILSTRIPS, Net Outlays, Financial Statement Compilation/Reporting, Travel (TDY), Travel (PCS-Military)
o Existence & Completeness: Medical Equipment, Real Property, Munitions, General Equipment – IT (IT equipment and internal use software), Government Furnished Equipment, Inventory/OM&S (Base), Weapons Systems Spares (Ctr, Managed/Ctr. Possessed
o Information Technology: IT audit, FISCAM and experience with assessing Information Technology General Control (ITGCs) and automated application controls
Additional Desired Qualifications:
•Experience with U.S. Air Force Financial Management systems and processes.
•Experience with USAF policies, systems, procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property, and material management.
•Applied understanding of DoD and USAF Financial Management policies and procedures.
