Department functions include; Building inspections hot work control, fire protections system configuration control. Responding to and controlling all emergencies, including those involved in company building, equipment, vehicles, medical, haz-mat and confined space rescue. Must be able to conduct fire protection, system inspections and routine maintenance. Should have Firefighter 1 & 2, Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) certification and have a current California Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license. In addition, the applicant must have a current California Driver License with 2 years of full-time career firefighting experience or 3 years resident/part time firefighting experience. Applicant should have a Class B certified license or the ability to obtain within a specified timeframe after employment.
