Maintain and manage the internal control of the Student Union accounting system. Monitors revenue accounts and collection activities for the Student Union. Transfers revenue to cover cash flow as necessary. Reconcile monthly P-Card reports/statements for administrators. Reconciles individual accounts within the Student Union. Develop and maintain the database management systems for revenue, and expenditure tracking. Reconcile revenues from subsidiary accounting system to Banner. Actively assists the Director of Student Union/ Assistant Director for Administration & Finance with the preparation of the annual Student Union budget. Develop and implement new policies and protocol for accounting-related issues. Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and change orders. Prepare and process invoices. Review invoices for accuracy, process paperwork for payment, and work closely with Director and Assistant Director for Administration & Finance. Review budget and maintain spreadsheet to share with supervisor. Responsible for the reconciliation of the monthly telecommunications report/statements. Maintain/reorders office supplies. Serves as a timekeeper and/or backup.

High school diploma/GED and five years of accounting experience as related to the position. Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business are required to have three years of accounting experience as related to the position. Knowledge and experience with a variety of computer software programs including MS Word and Excel required. Prior experience working with database management systems required. Prior experience with Banner preferred.
