Fiscal Managers supervise staff and manage a dynamic environment including operating budgets, associated impacts to rates and charges, the resulting financial reporting, and the combined impact on the organization’s pro forma. The Fiscal Manager oversees cash management policies, Federal funding reports, and is also engaged in performing professional fiscal analysis and research duties. Work involves the application of accepted professional techniques and knowledge of a variety of practices and problems relating to funding sources for capital budgets and general financial reporting. Supervision is exercised over staff engaged in performing fiscal analysis, research, and reporting duties. A Fiscal Manager is expected to use considerable initiative, independent judgment, and leadership when performing budget, accounting, and supervising duties. Work is performed under general direction of an executive or middle manager and is evaluated primarily on the basis of results obtained.
Currently one vacancy exists in the Aviation Department, Financial Management Division. This eligible list may be used by any department for any current or future vacancies over the life of the eligible list.

$69,950 - $104,416 annually. Appointment can be made above the minimum depending upon qualifications.
Four (4) years of professional experience in budget, finance, public administration or accounting;
Must have at least one (1) year of supervising professional staff or responsibility for an agency-wide governmental capital improvement program;
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, statistics, business, or a related field;
An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered.
