Assist with all aspects of fiscal management and budget oversight for the Engineering Education department. Duties include budget monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting; purchasing and accounts payable; accounts receivable; travel; payroll reconciliation; data gathering and preparation of ad hoc financial reports; and assistance with other financial and administrative duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications
BachelorĂ¢??s degree or equivalent training and experience in business with a concentration in accounting. Demonstrated expertise in financial principles and procedures; computer proficiency, particularly Microsoft office applications (i.e. Excel). Demonstrated multi-tasking, trouble-shooting and problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to audit, reconcile, detect errors, inconsistencies or discrepancies; to work independently with little supervision; maintain strict confidentiality; and produce work with a high degree of accuracy in a deadline oriented environment and within policy and budgetary limits.

Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency with financial and human resources information systems (Banner or equivalent software), payroll, travel, and experience with administration of sponsored research projects and knowledge of university fiscal policies and procedures.
