The Edge Fitness Clubs has been growing since 1987 when we opened our first club in Middletown, CT. With only 40 parking spaces, no treadmills and our founder, Vincent Sansone, almost the only employee, the club quickly grew to be number one in its market. It was Vincent’s love of fitness and helping others which set the tone for a bright future. He knew every customer by name and to this day can still be seen in our clubs spot checking for cleanliness and personal service. At The Edge, we strive to provide cutting edge classes and programs. As a Fitness Club Manager, you will leverage your love of fitness and take ownership of your club’s facilities, expenses and sales while effectively motivating and managing a staff. Utilize your business mindset as you work closely with the club GM and pay close attention to the expenses, taking advantage of revenue generating opportunities and building your club’s business. Your friendly and outgoing nature will serve you well as you build relationships and engage with current and potential club members. You will coach, motivate and manage a staff of membership advisors, retail sales associates, babysitters and personal trainers. We will ask you to be flexible with your schedule to meet the needs of our 7 day a week operation.
