Davidson Investment Advisors is currently seeking a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. This individual will work with the entire Investment Team in analyzing credit issues and formulating investment recommendations for portfolio construction. Issues typically included in the Intermediate Fixed Income portfolio include Treasuries, mortgage-backed securities, municipal bonds, TIPS, investment-grade credit issues and Canadian Provincial debt; analysis would primarily focus on these instruments. Extensive knowledge of overall credit markets is required, providing a meaningful contribution to the market analysis of both equity and credit issues in our collaborative team environment. The Portfolio Manager will also need to be available for periodic client interaction, as well as formal presentations to current and prospective clients, and work with these parties to develop investment strategies in adherence to Investment Policy Statements and other client guidelines as appropriate. Qualifications: (Including specific Education and License requirements)
  • Possess five or more years of Fixed Income experience

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree

  • MBA and/or CFA® designation preferred

  • Prior experience using Bloomberg and/or FactSet preferred

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills

  • Self-starter with superior time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members as well as work independently
