Job Purpose:
Supervises and coordinates a fleet of over the road drivers by providing training and education and ensuring the drivers are focused on reaching corporate goals.

Key Result Area #1 Operating Efficiencies
  • Controls costs by following established guidelines and promptness of:
  • Swaps
  • Out of Routes
  • T-Calls
  • Repowers
  • Generates accurate Weekend Pay Report
Key Result Area #2 Business Plan
  • Assists and participates in the creation of department action plans that support the company's strategic business plan.
Key Result Area #3 Professional Development and Teamwork
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending and participate in appropriate training
  • Contributes to the team effort by recommending improved processes
  • Works well with others within the department and company
  • Contributes to department goals by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Ensures company confidentiality
Key Result Area #4 Leadership and Management
  • Maintains information to operate in manual operation in the event of a Crisis
  • Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates job documentation of areas managed
  • Manages, assigns, delegates and directs duties of drivers
  • Appraises performance, coaches, counsels, rewards, and disciplines drivers
  • Maintains harmony among workers and resolves conflicts
  • Terminates drivers, as necessary
  • Supports and enforces operational and personnel policies, company programs and procedures

Minimum Qualifications
Four years of Transportation experience or two years supervisory experience in Operations and/or Driver Management
OR BS in Transportation or Business related field
