Ensures avionics, electrical, hydraulic and structural aircraft systems meet performance standards. Assists with the definition, development, implementation and improvement of test procedures. Performs in-flight tests that measure integrated systems compliance with design, customer and federal regulatory requirements. Diagnoses, documents and resolves problems during flight tests; assists with performs in-flight repairs and configuration changes. Analyzes causes of system failures and works with engineering to resolve problems. Develops and delivers training on new systems, test and operational procedures. Provides airline customers immediate technical consultation on the product features, reliability issues and problem resolution. Performs tests to diagnose and resolve aircraft system problems to assist with aircraft acceptance. Works under minimal direction. Extensive knowledge of avionics, electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems of commercial and military aircraft. Proven skills in diagnosing malfunctions, developing technical solutions to complex problems, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Ability to obtain and maintain medical flight clearance.
