This job is great for those who love meeting guests, working with money and working in a face paced environment.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The proper settling of guest checks through the Point of Sale system

Answering phones, greeting guests and providing information

Assisting in the opening procedures of the Cashier stands

Balanceing deposits at end of shift and reconciles any discrepancies

REQUIREMENTS:
Adept at problem solving.

Ability to work long and varied hours while standing.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Must be hands on.

Must have excellent organizational skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Prior cashier experience

Prior Point of Sale experience

LOCATION SPECIFIC INFORMATION:
Pioneer Grill at Jackson Lake Lodge offers a less formal setting, for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a classic 1950’s-style service. Pioneer Grill has a friendly atmosphere and serves classic American food like buffalo burgers and pan-seared rainbow trout, hot sandwiches and timeless classics like homemade meat loaf, homemade chili and classic Liver and Onions. Take-out service is also available. Pioneer Grill boasts of its milk shakes made from homemade ice cream. A cashier at this location also keeps accurate records of server TIPS and balances all work.

Pool Side Café at Jackson Lake Lodge serves a fun-filled meal prepared at a selection of grilled sandwiches, salads, pizza, and ice cream made to order, all prepared poolside. A cashier at this location also takes orders, serves food, maintains pool deck service area, and works with the Pool BBQ and assists. Our season is typically May through October.

Additional Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, pull and handle equipment weighing up to 55 lbs

Coffee Cart at Jackson Lake Lodge welcomes guests each morning with the essentials they need to start their day off right including coffee and muffins. Open early morning through lunch daily. A cashier at this location also sets up and stocks the Coffee Cart prior to each shift and completes all assigned pre-shift side duties to ensure that the Coffee Cart is set and ready to go 15 minutes prior to opening. Our season is typically May through October.

Whistle Pig at Jackson Lake Lodge is the official watering hole of the GTLC staff offering all the drinks and fun an employee could need to wind down after a day of work. The cashier in this position acts in a sales clerk capacity at a small employee bar, handling food, snack foods and beer. The cashier also assists in the preparation of sandwiches, microwave foods and snacks, serves all food and beverage items in a timely manner, maintains a clean and neat work area, cleans all counters, tables, floors, sinks and equipment as needed and directed, serves alcoholic beverages responsibly in accordance with state laws, and assist in the receiving of merchandise under supervisor’s direction. This cashier is required to be at least 21 years old. Our season is typically May through October.

The General Store at Colter Bay Village well stocked for every type of visitor. In addition to a wide selection of groceries, snacks and beverages, it offers an organic section with fresh fruit and homemade pastries. The general store also has a full-service ice cream counter as well as a deli for fresh sandwiches, soups, and salads in addition to ice, firewood, and an ATM.

Café Court at Colter Bay serves food for guests on the run. With an emphasis on both North and South American selections, the Café Court offers everything from quick sandwiches, delectable salads and hamburgers with accompanying beverages and ice creams. For a picnic or a meal back at your cabin, guests can grab a quick box lunch or place their order "to go."

The Convenience Store at Flagg Ranch is well stocked for every type of visitor as Flagg Ranch is a temporary home for campers and cabin dwellers alike. Guests stop in before heading out for a day of adventure and find a wide selection of groceries, snacks and beverages.

Barista at Flagg Ranch welcomes guests each morning with the essentials they need to start their day off right including coffee and muffins. Open early morning through lunch daily.
