Square is looking for an Food & Beverage Experience Assistant to help integrate Square's products into the daily lives of visitors to Square Kitchen & Square Tavern. You'll treat both like your own business (similar to a manager of a restaurant) and will craft the most impactful payment experience possible for guests. In this role, you'll help to amplify the quality of the product feedback and will share it with the product teams. You possess the technical skills, cross-departmental communication and high level of initiative and innovation for running a daily delightful experience. You have a merchant mindset and will shape the best customer service experience for Square’s office and employees. You'll work with various teams in the company, most closely with our product team and our food and beverage team.
Manage the front end of the house and visual aspects of the Square Kitchen & Square Tavern
Report product improvement suggestions from guests for Square Register
Use internal systems to expedite routing of reporting
Interface between testing coordinator and office/food teams
Maintain close level of communication between Square product team and food/office team
Day to day tasks involving mail, stocking, setup for events, etc.
Inventory management of Square Tavern offerings
Consistently innovate current processes
Demonstrate interest in the payment experience
2+ years experience in Retail/Food/Hospitality service desired
Extensive POS skills/experience
Tech savvy; iOS and Android familiarity, Understanding of build(s)
Troubleshooting skills required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Friendly and approachable
Strong organizational skills
Ability to wear many different hats
