The purpose of the Food & Beverage Manager is to manage the daily operations of the Restaurant, Bar, Dining Room, Banquet Facilities and Beverage Cart, Activities and their coordination with other departments.

Responsible for maintaining proper working relationships between the restaurant and all other departments.
Must be visible, and able to work all shifts as need dictates.
Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and managing a staff of 6 or more associates.
Monthly inventories, food and beverage ordering to maintain proper PAR levels, daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Manage and train staff on menu recipes to assure quality procedures are followed. Train for daily prep work to assure food cost consistency.
Perform appraisals for all staff as outlined in SOP’s.
Coach, counsel and develop all staff.
Organize monthly meetings and perform follow-up with all staff.
Associate Management, Inventory Management, F&B Controls and SOP’s, Guest/Owner Relations, Reporting & Communication.
Manage the restaurant inventory to attain the highest yield per F&B objectives.
Conduct daily inventory checks.
Train appropriate F&B associates on proper ordering procedures.
Daily checks of all audits/closeouts to ensure all financial controls.
Monitor all F&B SOP’s are being followed as outlined in the related manual.
Develop and maintain progress reports and program tracking for management review.
Communicate programs and results to appropriate parties.
Set up and track incentive program for F&B associates.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Skills, Knowledge, Ability, etc.):
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D)
2 years F&B Manager, Kitchen Manager or Chef.
Serve Safe Restaurant Manager Certified.
Must have menu planning experience as well as costing and development knowledge to assure cost, sales and consistency.
Customer service and quality fundamentals.
MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, company’s intranet system and corporate policies and procedures.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately.
Strong interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
Must have follow-through process on short-term programs.
Multi-tasking skills are needed.
Dependability, initiative, integrity and ethics, interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently, interact with a wide range of people,
