Responsible for the direction of food & beverage staff in compliance with company procedures to obtain the highest quality of service to guests with maximum operating results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage effective operation of designated food and beverage personnel and venues to include adequate staffing. Manage the daily operations of all aspects of food and beverage service on assigned shift. Required to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all facilities and bar service areas at the highest level. Promote the highest quality of service to guests. Handle and resolve all guest complaints and concerns.
Control costs of product through monitoring stock and ensuring preparation of all food and beverages within established procedures and policies. Required to perform food/beverage inventories at all service areas.
Coordinate all job activities of employees. Complete scheduling and payroll for all hourly employees on a daily basis. Responsible for the effective scheduling of employees while maintaining the highest level of guest service while utilizing minimum use of labor hours.
Perform duties of food and beverage employees as required.
Comply with all Internal Controls, Company, departmental, and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company's judgement, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest service.
Directly supervises employees in the Food and Beverage Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid ABC License.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
