Responsibilities include: evaluating food processing and storage operations management systems and assisting in the development of quality assurance programs
evaluating new or improved ways of preserving, processing, packing, storing and delivering foods; leading and participating in preliminary assessments, follow-up visits, surveillances and certificate renewals to contract and budget requirements related to food safety issues; undertaking client management activities for assigned customers. 75% domestic travel.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in food quality assurance or food safety functions.
