Drive food safety compliance by working with Enterprise Quality Field Services as well as plant quality and leadership staff
  • Create and standardize food safety requirements, documentation, and execution of plant processes
  • Provide HACCP guidance to the organization including HACCP plan reviews and validation
  • Provide HACCP training to the organization and outline audit requirements associated with HACCP
  • Coordinate and innovate with R&D on formulation safety and approval
  • Provide expertise on all categories of hazards (physical, chemical, biological, radiological) with specific focus on allergens and foreign material
  • Support specified customer and supplier initiatives in conjunction with Enterprise Quality Field Services/Quality Systems/Supplier Quality groups, Sales, Operations, and other functions
  • Provide support to Enterprise Quality Field Services and Quality Systems partners through coordinating and/or assisting with selected requirements, initiatives, or situations
  • Review, update, and provide food safety training for home office, operations, and technologies teams Coordinate and innovate with engineering for equipment standards, upgrades, and problem solving
  • Support the Big 5 program for food safety: Traffic Patterns, GMPs, Infrastructure, Equipment Design, Sanitation
  • Support environmental pathogen monitoring program
  • Work on other programs and systems related to food safety and quality to support organization’s objectives
  • Qualifications:
    • Must have BS - Food Science or Microbiology; Master's or PhD a BIG plus.
    • CQE/CQA certification preferred
    • 8+ years food safety and quality manufacturing experience.
    • Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder
