Responsible for the delivery and service of food and beverages to guests while complying with company procedures to ensure the highest standards of quality service. Assist guests in every way possible in order to achieve the highest level of guest service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work assigned server stations; take food and beverage orders from guests and deliver food and beverage orders to guests. Provide professional, friendly service in a timely manner according to standard service procedures.
Adhere to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act as well as guest regulations, and the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures governing the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Input all orders into the Micros Computer System. Operate computer cash drawer and take payment from guest(s). Properly process transactions, involving either cash, credit card or other forms of payment. Adhering to department procedures, close out and balance cash drawer with reports.
Maintain cleanliness at server’s stations and table tops, including brushing all chairs for crumbs and spills and spot checking carpet for dirt and stains and sweeping as necessary. Maintain stock of all condiments and flatware and restock all table top items after each sitting. At closing, restock all stations and service areas for next shift.
Perform all side work duties as required.
Promote positive guest and employee relations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must have a valid ABC License.
