This position is responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests. This position shall provide exceptional customer service to all guests. |
Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Set up work station and perform assigned side work. Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating. Distribute menus. Take orders of guests. Place orders with kitchen; inform cooks about any special cooking instructions. Serve meal; place dishes by courses in front of each person. Check back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenish drinks as necessary. Remove soiled dishes. Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks. Present the bill. Handle all cash and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures. Keep tables, dining room and bus station areas clean. Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur. Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager. Attend pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dunes House Manager. Turn in signed tip declaration form nightly. Supervise bus person.
Must be 21 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent.
