High School Diploma/GED
1 - 3 years of experience required
THIS IS A CASUAL POSITION, NUMBER OF HOUR NOT GUARANTEED, MAY WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS
Must be able to work as a team player, orchestrating job functions within the department. Must ensure that all food preparation, sanitation, cleaning are done in accordance with all state and federal guidelines.
All cash handling is to be done in accordance with departmental protocols.
Responsible for assigned work as defined in the various job positions within the department.
Responsible for appropriate storage, rotation and movement of food and supply inventories.
MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Ability to read, write, follow instructions and perform simple calculations. Would prefer a minimum of two (2) years work experience in food service.
Able to articulate and demonstrate commitment to the Philosophy, Values and Mission of Mercy Hospital Cadillac.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, the Corporate Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
Basic interpersonal skills are required in order to maintain a positive image by exchanging factual information, greeting visitors, understanding and giving simple instructions, and the like.
