Job Title: Food Service Coordinator Area of Interest: Food and Beverage

Maintain and order inventory of onboard galley equipment across the fleet. Coordinate and schedule space for events onboard related to Food & Beverage Operations. Assist with general administrative needs across the department, as necessary. Responsibilities include: Maintain inventory of small equipment parts for galleys onboard all ships and place orders. Coordinate equipment repairs with vendors. Receive and pack new and repaired equipment and ensure delivery to ships. Verify status of equipment with onboard Receiving Department and the vendor(s). Maintain log and status of all galley equipment serial numbers and warranty status. Update and maintain menu system and directory on company. Administer related content management to include updates, changes, corrections and language translations as necessary. Place specialty dining room items from guests for holidays and special occasions. Process payments and submit logs for the fleet. Maintain Outlook calendars for onboard events related to Food & Beverage and coordinate appropriate space and event locations. Make travel arrangements and submit expense reports for management team. Perform other job related functions as assigned. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to three years of experience in administrative role.
Hospitality industry experience preferred but not required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Good organizational and follow-up skills to maintain accurate inventories and logs.
Verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with team, various vendors and onboard crew. Knowledge of or ability to learn FFS menu system and intranet.
Ability to regularly lift up to 30 lbs. to lift/push/carry boxes of galley equipment for the ships, within reasonable accommodation. Benefits as a member of Carnival's Team:
