Residential Treatment Program
Located in the
beautiful Central Hills of Tennessee between two magnificent rivers,
we work with young people from 12 yrs to 17 yrs old. This facility
beds 87 male residents. These young men fall into the following
categories: Court Ordered youth, Aggressive Youth, and Youth who have
failed other RTCs. Our facility, wilderness setting, enables Natchez
Trace Youth Academy the ability to offer a safe, deliberate and
exhilarating process for stabilizing behavior, assessing physical and
psychological health and BLAZING A TRAIL FOR SUCCESS.
Natchez Trace Youth Academy is CARF accredited. Licensure: Tennessee
Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities for
Residential and Tennessee Department of Children’s Services for
Prepares and cooks meals for

Demonstrates knowledge of proper food preparation including
receiving, storing, handling, and following recipes.
Prepares and serves food in quantities according to menu, number of
people to be served, and portion control.

4. Uses accepted techniques in handling, preparation and
serving food to clients and employees.
inspects and properly stores all supplies entering Food Service
6. Monitors all kitchen equipment and
appliances for malfunctions and proper temperatures. Reports same to

equipment and maintains a clean environment, including utensils,
appliances, floors, equipment, etc.
8. Maintains a safe
working environment by following all safety procedures, including the
use of Standard Precautions, proper storage and use of chemicals, and
properly securing the Food Service area. Also demonstrates knowledge
of Material Safety Data Sheets.
9. Completes all
requested forms pertaining to Food Service area.
Provides positive, professional role modeling and maintains
appropriate boundaries with clients at all times.
Participates in special events on campus as needed.
1. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or
general education degree (GED); and one to three months related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education

Drivers' License with appropriate Endorsement
