Provena St. Anne Center, located in Rockford, Illinois is a 179-bed, Medicare certified bed facility offering post-acute, rehabilitation and LTC nursing services in a resident choice environment.
The primary function of this position is the preparation of patient/residnet trays in an appealing and accurate manner, serving residents/patients in the dining rooms, providing for the washing and sanitizing of dishes, performing cleaning assignments in kitchen areas.
IL Sanitation License, preferred
Able to read and comprehend written menus and instructions
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and follow directions
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be dedicated to providing excellent customer service
Must possess basic computer skills
Prior experience in supervising or assisting with supervising employees
Able to function as a team member
Complete duties in a timely fashion
Ability to work on one's feet for a full shift.
Able to lift moderate weights of 40-50 pounds.
Ability to tolerate up and down movement, reaching above and below shoulder height.
REPORTS TO: Dietary Director/Kitchen Supervisor or designee
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist in accurate dining room and tray assembly.
Deliver correct food items to residents.
Utilize extended menus and tray/diet cards.
Provide courteous, prompt service to residents.
Properly dispose of refuse.
Properly wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils and equipment, and put away in proper place.
Perform cleaning assignments in a timely, efficient manner.
Utilize cleaning equipment in a safe manner.
Follow departmental procedures including sanitation, safety and schedules.
Completes intake assessments in an accurate manner.
