- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 3-5 years experience is required

To prepare specified items by following recipes and culinary standards set by the chef and retail manager. To operate safely and effectively industrial kitchen equipment when needed and using appropriate culinary tools in a safe manner. Consistently keeps the department in a way that meets and exceeds all state, county and regulatory agency compliance.
Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent. Four years of work related experience. Ability to use culinary tools such as knives, mixers, ovens, slicers, steamers and kettles. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
Ability to read and follow recipes. Ability to manage time and work independently. Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English. Ability to add and subtract numbers.
Physical Requirements : Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity : The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, food services, general laborer, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e., security guard, inspection, etc.)
Environmental Conditions : The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
