DESCRIPTION

Responsible for supervising and administering operations for the Food Outlets, assist in the coordination of new ideas in guest service, service training and product enhancement, while maintaining cashier responsibilities.

DUTIES

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accept orders, serves food and beverage to guests.
  • Order supplies and food.
  • Conduct inventory as necessary.
  • Complete issue sheets on daily basis.
  • Assist Senior Food Supervisor.
  • Calculate and present check to guest.
  • Apply positive communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with guests, (internal and external) at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, Gaming Commission regulations, and internal controls.
  • Formulate and administer departmental budget.
  • Develop annual goals and objectives.
  • Instructs in operation procedures, policies and guest relations.
  • Develop pricing and evaluate regularly to ensure guests' needs are met.
  • Ensure excellent quality product and service is delivered.
  • Responsible for food cost control.
  • Maintain excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervises Team Member working in Soboba Cafe and Cofee Kiicha.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Customer Service background with heavy customer interaction.
  • 2 years experience in food preparation and service required.
  • 2-3 years experience in a Supervisory capacity or above preferred.
  • Cash handling experience required.
Certificates, licenses and registration
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming Commission license. Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Card from Riverside County. Duties and Responsibilities
