The purpose of the Food & Beverage Manager is to manage the daily operations of the Tki Bar, Pool Bar and Activities and their coordination with other departments.
This position is responsible for maintaining proper working relationships between the Tiki Bar and all other departments. As the Food & Beverage Manager you must be visible, and able to work all shifts as need dictates. You will be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and managing a staff of 6 or more associates. Must be able to work independently, interact with a wide range of people, PC proficient, excel, windows and POS.Monthly inventories, food and beverage ordering to maintain proper PAR levels, daily, weekly and monthly reports. Must have follow-through process on short-term and long term programs. Multi-tasking skills are needed. Self-starter—able to work independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to deal with ever-changing situations. Associate Management, Inventory Management, F&B Controls and SOP’s, Guest/Owner Relations, Reporting & Communication. Manage the inventory to attain the highest yield per F&B objectives. Conduct daily inventory checks. Train appropriate F&B associates on proper ordering procedures. This position is responsible for maintaining proper working relationships between the restaurant and all other departments. Daily checks of all audits/closeouts to ensure all financial controls. Monitor all F&B SOP’s are being followed as outlined in the related manual .Develop and maintain progress reports and program tracking for management review. Communicate programs and results to appropriate parties. Set up and track incentive program for F&B associates. Manage and train menu recipes to assure quality procedures. Train for daily prep work to assure food cost consistency. Must have menu planning, costing and development knowledge to assure cost, sales and consistency. Manage the rental slips to assure safety and security is being met.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D)
- 2 years F&B Manager, Kitchen Manager or Chef.
- Serve Safe Restaurant Manager Certified
- Customer service and quality fundamentals, knowledge of MS Office, Outlook & Internet Explorer.
- Menu planning, costing and development knowledge to assure cost, sales and consistency.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
