What will I be doing?
As a Food & Beverage Manager, you are responsible for managing operations of Food & Beverage outlets to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Food & Beverage Manager would also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within all budgeted guidelines. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
What are we looking for?
- Manage all Food & Beverage Outlet operations
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
- Ensure compliance of brand standards
- Recruit, manage, train and develop the F&B team
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food & Beverage Costs and Payroll
- Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
- Develop menus with other members of F&B team
- Accountable for monthly stock takes
- Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue
- Carry out annual and mid-year appraisals with Managers under your responsibility
- Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
- Be environmentally aware
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Must be available to work mainly on week-ends and late night
*Preparing and booking music & entertainment for the Hotel under the guidance of the F&B director
*Maintain updated and timely calendar of events
*Develop Clientele for the F&B outlets of the Hotel thru Public Relation & Marketing
*Work closely and maintain timely communication with the Puerto Rico Hilton Cluster Directors of PR and Marketing
*Initiate, engage, develop and grow clientele base thru specials memberships programs and direct Public Relation
*Develop and initiate the marketing plans with the Director of F&B
*Maintain impeccable professional image representing a first class resort at all time
*Develop network of sponsors, clients, promoters, etc.
*Generate ideas and work with the Director of F&B special promotion
*Prepare tactical action plan for the business development of projects and promotions
*Work with the executive chef, director of F&B, graphic artist, Marketing director on artworks for menus and other projects
*Develop and maintain special event with the Director of F&B
*Must be available to work mainly on week-ends and late night
