Food and Nutrition Services Director Oversees and performs the daily operations of the Food Service Department. Directs and participates in the preparation, cooking and baking of quality foods for patients, staff, physicians, families and visitors, including catering. Plans and develops menus, prices menu items, performs inventory, orders supplies, and keeps records and accounts. Supervises staff. Requires High School Diploma or GED. Associate's of Culinary Arts preferred. Requires previous experience working as a Chef or under a Chef's supervision; management of and participation in food service operation including cooking/baking/prep; knowledge of business and management principles; understanding of federal, state, and local food sanitation regulations; knowledge of HACCP based processes; excellent customer service skills; ability to understand and communicate the standards and medical nutrition therapies; ability to perform basic math calculations; and ability to multi-task. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Healthcare food service experience a plus. Knowledge of therapeutic diets desired. Exempt Position. Day shift.
