Description

Facilitates, coordinates and administers Oral Proficiency Interviews and written foreign language proficiency evaluation tests.

Duties include (but are not limited to)

(1) Will be responsible to coordinate, arrange and administer foreign language proficiency testing to Agency hiring candidates and Agency personnel.

(2) Testing includes screening evaluations, Defense Language Proficiency Tests, and Oral Proficiency Interviews. Will maintain accountability and security of all testing materials, books, computers, and office equipment.

(3) The position requires maintaining a testing database; assessing individuals' foreign language proficiency; determining foreign language proficiency pay eligibility and ensuring annual testing requirements are conducted for all Agency personnel.

Qualifications

Degree Requirements: BS required.

Relevant Experience (amount and type):
Position will require knowledge of and working with applicable directives, instructions and regulations, and forms within the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense, as well as an understanding of the Interagency Language Roundtable foreign language proficiency standards.

Individual must be fluent in the English language. Must have active clearance. Must be able to maintain customized Microsoft Access database using standard operating systems, and be able to use Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications: Foreign Language proficiency is desired, but not required.

Applicants selected for this position will require background screening and the ability to maintain a security clearance. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
