The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control's warehouse is recruiting for a Forklift Operator to independently and primarily perform order selection via a conveyor system. This includes a variety of tasks related to filling store orders, such as unloading/receiving of inbound product from vendors, putting away bulk inventory, locating merchandise and putting it on the conveyor, building pallets for shipping, and loading trucks. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Incumbents will be required to work overtime during peak seasons.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualified applicants should have general knowledge of warehouse equipment operations; stock location systems; record keeping/documentation practices and experience performing a variety of warehouse activities. Must be able to work in an environment that is non-heated or air-conditioned and move cases of alcoholic beverages up to 65 lbs.

Previous experience operating a motorized pallet truck, cherry-picker or forklift is preferred in addition to graduation from high school or the equivalent.
