Operate a forklift to transport product within the warehouse safely and efficiently. Perform receiving and/or shipping functions as assigned by department supervisor. Assist with daily cycle count and yearly physical inventory processes


Accurately record products transferred within the warehouse and provide real-time updates to the Oracle inventory management system with the use of the radio frequency bar coding system. If system is unavailable, accurately record products transferred on a Move Ticket and return to the Warehouse Supervisor for immediate update into the Oracle inventory management system.

Operate forklifts in a safe and appropriate manner to insure no damage occurs to the product, pallet racks, trucks, forklifts, and other equipment within the warehouse while loading/unloading trucks, transferring, and storing products.

Process in a timely manner all inbound shipments (purchase orders, resupply orders, and transfers) to insure all deliveries that arrive at the DC by 2:00pm are updated the same day in the Oracle inventory management system. Visually confirm and record products received on a dock receipt. Note any receiving variances on dock receipt and inform Receiving Lead. Submit all paperwork to Receiving Lead for process in the Oracle inventory management system.

For outbound shipments (resupply orders and transfers), accurately pull and stage requested products based on designated product locations and quantities listed on picking lists. Indicate on picking lists any location or quantity changes. Notify Shipping Lead or Warehouse Supervisor of any quantity changes that are under/over by 10% of what is requested to ship. Mark pallets in accordance with established procedures. Complete and forward necessary shipping documents to Transportation Department, RO Shipping Lead or Warehouse Supervisor.

Perform daily forklift inspections to insure optimum use of material handling equipment. Record and report any equipment problems to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Perform cycle count and physical inventory processes in accordance with set counting schedules. Accurately record counts and report any variances found during count process.

Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area keeping a constant watch for any safety issues. Notify Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager or Security immediately of any unsafe working conditions or practices observed in the work area. Immediately report any and all accidents which you witness or are involved in, to the Warehouse Supervisor or any other management staff, or Security.

Perform other functions and duties as assigned or necessary.



Good working knowledge of warehousing operations and safety as it relates to the specific functions of product movement, inventory systems, and forklift operations.

Experienced in the use of radio frequency bar code scanners.

Good mathematical skills.

Read, write and understand English with good oral communication skills, bilingual a plus.

Ability to carry out responsibilities under general supervision

Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity

Ability to function as an effective team member and work well in a moderately stressful environment.

Ability to respond effectively and positively in a rapidly changing warehouse environment

Clean, neat, organized and alert.


1 year Forklift operator and general warehousing experience

Good working knowledge of warehousing operations as it relates to the specific functions of product movement,

Inventory systems, and forklift operations

Experienced in the use of radio frequency bar code scanners


2-3 years experience in general warehousing


High School Diploma or equivalent
