Job Description

Omnicom's branded networks and numerous specialty firms provide advertising, strategic media planning and buying, direct and promotional marketing, public relations and other specialty communications services to over 5,000 clients in more than 100 countries.
This freelance web architect position will last a duration of 8+ weeks with responsibilities for 40+ hours of work per week. It will be necessary to be on site for the first 2 weeks of the engagement in our Philadelphia location.
The web architect possesses these skills:
Experience with Planning/Constructing/Extending JavaScript APIs Experience negotiating data requirements with back-end services developers Excellent knowledge of design patterns and web-architecture Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript Strong experience working with jQuery and/or other JavaScript libraries. Ability to work in a team environment, from making pixel perfect sites/apps that meet the design requirements to integrating code with the back-end development team. Ability to build custom interface components and clean, portable code with keen understanding of object-oriented design. Working knowledge of Photoshop or similar tools, with respect to being able to cut up visual comps from the design team. In-depth knowledge of browser quirks and and how to address them. Experience working and collaborating with User Experience Designers in order to realize a specified design vision.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Experience architecting Rich Internet Applications (stateful, engaging, responsive, desktop-like web applications), that specifically used web standards (HTML5/CSS/Javascript) on the front end. Experience architecting solutions that include desktop/laptop and mobile (tablet, phone). Experience defining APIs for Rich Internet Applications. BS Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience 7+ years of software development experience Demonstrated experience with complex enterprise web projects
