Job Description

The Lead Generation Specialist is a Paris based position responsible for Lead Generation activities principally aimed at identifying new business opportunities and developing leads for the French based Territory Managers of Interactive Intelligence.

The main activity will be outbound, involving qualifying prospects generated through various marketing campaigns, inviting and confirming attendees to events and webinars, and supporting inbound marketing enquiries.

Accurate data entry of telemarketing responses and scheduling of follow-up calls etc, is required as well as regular reporting of results and providing feedback to the Sales & Marketing team are also vital to the success of this role.

Additionally, occasional market research and Customer Satisfaction projects may be undertaken.

Success will typically involve a specified number of business development calls a day resulting in the generation of a specified number of high quality leads per month.

Experience & Requirements

Successful track record in a similar role; for example 2+ years of successful b2b internal sales, telemarketing or related lead generation experience or customer services expertise with knowledge of up-selling and cross-selling

Knowledge of the telecommunications industry (Call centre, IVR, PBX, CTI, ACD) an advantage

Strong aptitude for & interest in technology concepts and products

Experience of MS Office applications in particular Excel, Outlook, Word, as well as significant experience with customer relationship management software.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage with technical and high level business decision makers and demonstrate the same level of professionalism and enthusiasm call after call

Self motivated with the ability to work independently and on own initiative and comfortable with prioritising, multi-tasking and being able to meet strict deadlines


The French Lead Generation Specialist reports directly to the Field Marketing Manager, France and is a key contributor to the French sales effort.


The primary objective of the role is to identify, qualify, and cultivate new sales opportunities and support the company’s sales & marketing efforts.

Compensation will consist of a base salary and quarterly performance based bonus.
