Provide face-to-face customer service to in-store and telephone customers, including payment collection, equipment transactions and customer knowledge training, in a manner consistent with company policies, procedures and quality standards.
Assist with customer needs and proactively present options to create sales opportunity, as to increase the economic value of existing customers and to create new customer accounts.
Essential Job Functions:
Promote excellent customer relations in all transactions and contacts.
Maintain a professional and courteous manner while attending to customers.
Perform in a manner consistent with company policies, procedures, quality standards, as well as local, state and federal regulations.
While working on the sales floor, initiates the greeting of customers, answer questions and promote sales.
Assist customers with Self Service Kiosks. Are aware of and inform customers of current promotions and services available to increase sales opportunity.
Access customer accounts, key information and accurately input work orders, adjustments and payments. Answer questions, research customer inquiries and take appropriate action; such as correcting billing errors. Follow all cash reconciliation procedures in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures. Reconcile daily cash in-take ensuring each drawer balances without any cash variances.
Responsible for all converters/remotes and all other equipment issued to him/her.
Ensure proper exchange, issue or return of all equipment; fill out proper forms and paper work neatly and on time.
Maintain station area and ensure store is neat and in proper order.Able to meet established productivity, accuracy and quality standards.
A minimum of one year in a fast-paced customer sales and service environment.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively listen, comprehend and interact with internal and external customers.
Strong PC skills with the ability to learn complex billing systems and various software applications quickly. Must be able to understand, maneuver within, and interpret data from these software applications after a short training session. Must perform entries into the computer system quickly and accurately.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to write routine correspondence, reports, and memos.
Must effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Must be able to work in a culturally and socio-economically diverse environment
and be willing to give all customers consistent and equal levels of high quality service.
Ability to meet established productivity, accuracy and quality standards.
Possess a cooperative and positive attitude toward customers and the company.
Must have flexibility in work schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.

Ability to use Standard Office Equipment (phone/copier/fax)
Retail sales experience a plus.
Knowledge of CATV and Internet Technology a plus; not required.
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
