OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for the auditing of all charges and postings, correcting work as required. The Overnight Front Desk Agent reconciles daily activity and closes all accounts in preparation for the new day. All information will be processed and formatted into daily reports and distributed as the Morning Reports. Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently: process all payments according to hotel requirements. Provide information and assistance to guests and visitors. Must have a flexible schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience: Minimum two years’ experience in a similar capacity for a hotel/resort.
  • Education: High school diploma, prefer hospitality degree.
  • General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to input and access information into software; ability to maintain concentration and think clearly; ability to prioritize, organize and follow-up; ability to promote positive relations with vendors and staff alike; ability to count cash accurately and quickly; ability to maintain confidentiality of cash transactions; ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision; ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time; ability to focus on details and resolve numerical problems; ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
