The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for all general office functions. These include but are not limited to operating the company switchboard, coordination of all outgoing and incoming packages, assisting partners with projects as needed, distribution of daily mail and coding of utility bills for properties.
The employee is accountable for all duties of this job. As an employee of IAS, the following two requirements are applicable:

Duties & Responsibilities
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person and/or by telephone
Answers and directs persons to the correct destination in a professional manner
Retrieves and returns/forwards as appropriate any messages in a prompt and courteous manner
Receives and sorts mail and regularly distribute mail
Collects & places supply orders and contacts vendors as needed
Maintains safe and clean reception area by following procedures and regulations
Must maintain a high level of customer service skills at all times
Other tasks as assigned

Strong customer service skills are essential

Ability to work as a “team member/representative” with outside vendors, internal employees and maintain a professional personal presentation at all times
Initiative and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Education or Formal Training/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Requires continual sitting at a desk for long periods of time
Considerable repetitive motion of hands and wrists as relates to the use of a computer keyboard and telephone
