FLSA Status: Non Exempt Position Status: Full Time

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:

Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed policies and practices.

Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.

Keep all Hotel information confidential. Respect and protect the confidential and privileged information of my employer beyond the term of my employment.

Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Position purpose

To ensure efficient and courteous Hotel services to guests.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

Responsible to oversee all Front Desk activities. Ensure that all room sales policies, ordinances, and regulations are followed. Train and supervise all Front House Personnel. Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction. Respond to telephone calls for reservations, transfer calls, and forward messages to guests timely. Post and rebate room tax and other charges to guest accounts accurately. Maintain daily inventory of available rooms. Administer guest payment policies. Maintain hotel key security system and safety deposit boxes. Notify maintenance or housekeeping of any reported problems. Be knowledgeable of all promotional rate programs. Communicate lost and found items or inquiries to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas. Open and close shifts and make cash drops. Ensure all cash, credit cards, and change funds are balanced throughout the shift. Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old.

Special Position Requirements:

Requires Gaming License

Work Requirements

Requires problem solving skills, ability to communicate effectively and supervise others, operate a desktop computer. Position involves prolonged sitting, standing or walking, stooping or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 25 pounds on a daily basis. Work is performed in a hotel environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
