We're looking to hire extraordinary developers, testers and designers to help us build our big data, consumer-focused mobile and web applications. These positions report directly to the CTO.
What you will be doing
You will be involved in developing (and potentially designing) the interface and functionality of the Fair Auto website and consumer applications.
Development
--Develop front-end code using HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript
--Define and develop reusable and efficient JavaScript components and data bindings
--Write tests to monitor and ensure the performance of front-end code
--Build high performance front-end UI components that engage and delight our users.
--Translate designs and style guides into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility, performance and robustness.
Depending on your skill set, the work may also include:
Design
--Create engaging, usable, cutting-edge user interfaces to form a compelling visual experience for our customers, while also working to achieve business goals.
--Produce highly accurate wireframe documentation, process/task flows, site maps, screen prototypes and other specifications so that they advance the company's merchandising, business, marketing, and branding objectives.
--Brainstorm concepts and create visual prototypes via story boards, mockups, or other prototyping tools and present design ideas to the team.
Requirements
--Track record of technical accomplishment
--Strong experience in hands on development in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
--Expertise in creating interactive experiences across common browsers
--Up to date on the latest trends and approaches for Responsive and "Object-Oriented" web development
--Desire to build world-class consumer web products with a focus on user experience, engagement, and strong visual design creativity
--Experience with analytics and A/B testing implementation
--Ability to thrive in a fast paced and high-intensity start-up culture
--Strong leadership and organization skills
