FULFILLMENT SYSTEM ASSISTANT, MIT Press, to maintain a computer fulfillment system, including setting up new products, coordinating and testing system upgrades, creating custom and updating existing reports, and troubleshooting user problems. Will run computer system processes and serve as the main resource for questions from Journals and Digital Products Customer Service regarding computer system; generate issue label files, renewal notices, subscriber level reports, inventory, mailing and promotion lists, and run end-of-month reconciles; coordinate distribution and mailing of files, reports, and notices; coordinate credit card reporting, generation of daily back label files, and daily subscriber file upload to online access provider; assist Journals Customer Service in troubleshooting customer problems with online access to content; and coordinate communication between various internal and external technical teams. Will also assist Journals Customer Service with order entry, claims, etc., during peak renewal times and as needed.

REQUIREMENTS: at least two years of experience in a circulation fulfillment department or similar setting; working knowledge of relational databases such as MS Access or FileMaker, Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook or other email program, and Internet Explorer or other web browser; excellent oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical individuals; and good technical problem solving skills. Must be able to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Should be organized and able to work quickly and accurately under pressure. College degree preferred. MIT-00009472-4
