The Electrical Technology Department invites qualified candidates to apply for a permanent full-time, tenure track position which will begin in the Fall 2013 semester.
Candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching, active professional development/life-long learning, experience in student advisement, curriculum development, service to college and community, and a commitment to working closely with undergraduate students in small-class settings in a dynamic and diverse/multicultural college environment.
Other duties include holding office hours, advising students, observing adjunct faculty, and service to the college, generally in the form of committee work. The teaching load is 5/5 and there is opportunity to teach during summer and winter sessions although that is not required. The College offers opportunity for sabbaticals and travel money to conduct research and attend professional conferences.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field along with college teaching experience.
