A requirements analyst is required to assist in the requirements analysis for the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
General understanding of how business and functional requirements relate to systems requirements. Under the current scope, only business and functional requirements will be collected.
Writing: Ability to translate requirements gathered in meetings and interview sessions into a professional requirements document.
Interaction Skills: While not every business analyst on this team will play a lead role, there will be an opportunity for every member of the team to interact with the customer on a regular basis. Thus, business analysts should be able to present themselves in a professional manner and articulate their ideas without getting tongue-tied.
