The functional analyst is a key member of the implementation project team and is responsible for ensuring successful implementations of Harmony's world class enterprise solutions that provide clear competitive advantage in the social services field. He/she helps manage client relationships, ensuring that Harmony is able to deliver quality products and services on time and within budget. This particular role will also inform internal product management activities, informing product marketing initiatives for company products throughout the product life-cycle.

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of Harmony enterprise case management solutions
  • Develop all functional work papers appropriate to the scope and nature of each project
  • Assist in managing the project schedule and other components of the detailed project plan
  • Help coordinate timelines and deliverables for client projects while assuring compliance with our structured implementation methodology
  • Manage client expectations
  • Support the development of compliant and high quality responses to RFPs, RFIs and client addenda
  • Submit project information to Harmony's internal reporting systems as required
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and translate these needs into project and product requirements
  • Develop business cases that will help drive the product planning functions and will also be invaluable components of client test plans
  • Actively engage in product launches and coordination of cross functional launch activities
  • Develop business and clinical oriented sales tools and provide product promotions support through the development of whitepapers, case studies, FAQ documents, webinars, and presentations
  • Take an active role in sales calls and customer-facing activities when needed
  • Demonstrated success in implementing enterprise applications as part of a project team
  • A minimum of four years of business analysis together with some project management activities
  • Must be self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment
  • Must thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills with the ability to tailor communication style for all levels in the clients' and prospects' organizations
  • Operational knowledge of basic finance and accounting concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, and configure COTS solutions
  • Proficient in project management software applications (MS Project)
  • Creative and persistent problem solving skills
  • Must be collaborative - working well across functionally groups to assist in driving projects to successful conclusions
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, human services or related field is preferred
  • Human services background is a huge plus
  • Must be available to travel as needed.
