Summary:
Responsibility includes personnel who provide testing, test analysis and test management support in areas where capabilities are normally gained primarily through extensive on the-job experience or specialized formal Government or institutional training and certification. On-the-job experience must be in specific interoperability fields and/or interoperability testing such as: DoD Logistics Systems, DoD Business Systems, Homeland Security Systems, DoD Tactical Data Link Systems, DoD Command and Control Systems, DoD Force Application or Force Protection Systems, and Developmental / Operational Testing. Personnel perform analytical work in support of interoperability testing, evaluation, and certification of Information Technology and National Security Systems. This work requires understanding of Department of Defense interoperability directives and instructions.

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in the area of specialization or have completed at least 30 semester hours of formal education from an accredited institution working towards an Associates degree in a directly related curriculum such as, but not limited to: Information Technology, Information Systems, information Systems Technology, and Engineering Technology. Experience in test support, test analysis, test management, and interoperability test is required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance: Secret clearance required, TS/SCI preferred Defense Acquisition University Test and Evaluation Level 1, 2, or 3 certifications is preferred. United States Forces Command Joint Multi-Tactical Data Link (TDL) School training and certification preferred. University of Memphis Systems Test Excellence Program (STEP) certification preferred.
