Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Functional Team Lead located in Houston, Texas through September 18, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Ariba implementations, roll outs & upgrades at client locations.
Delivery of all Projects, Support Packs, Enhancements and fixes to Ariba per Support and Procurement Technology road maps
Communication with project stakeholder's on progress, issues and implementation plans.
Collaborate & work with cross functional & technical teams for successful implementations, roll outs, upgrades & issue resolutions.
Identify business needs & map them to existing system setups & configurations.
Work with business units to identify improvement opportunities & define best business practices that complement existing system design & setups.
Analyze business case, create Functional design, test scripts & work with Ariba & ERP technical teams on solutions for development & timely implementation of system enhancements & fixes.
Ensure functional design aligns with business requirements & improves operational efficiency of procurement processes.
Facilitate deployment of new system functionalities & enhancements at Business Units.
Recommend best options to facilitate decision making for system & process improvements.
Support Business Unit SME's on complex issue resolutions & business processes to ensure Ariba & ERP application tools are utilized effectively.
Co-ordinate & facilitate functional testing for deployment of product upgrades.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related courses.
Ariba experience a plus, but not required
Supervisory Experience , working with and leading a diverse set of folks . Experience in supervising offshore folks also a plus.
Demonstrated aptitude and interest in working in a customer focused environment.
Ability to apply demonstrated problem solving skills to develop workable solutions across functions and organizations.
Communicates in clear, concise, understandable manner, both orally and in writing.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks across customers simultaneously. Experience in utilizing change control processes and procedures.
Encourages cooperation and teamwork across organizations, functions and within teams.
Demonstrates an inclusive, collaborative style to ensure results are achieved and supported.
