The Functionality testing role provides a great deal of responsibility, whether you are a new Engineer just starting your career or a veteran. Position requires setting up and maintaining test environments. Working with Peers and Development to find problems with Interactive Intelligence products.
Person will be managing / supporting multiple products at one time from ground up. Must be able to capture information on how one function / process may impact another and create test environments.
Capture design requirements and specifications for product testing. Ability to interact heavily with developers on a regular basis to diagnose problems identified by test runs.
Will be responsible for writing complete test cases
Assist in special product-related issues as needed.
Continually enhance technical and professional skills.
Degree in computer science or computer technology or equivalent in work experience
Working knowledge of the design and implementation of network, software and hardware solutions.
Experience with setting up and maintaining Windows 2003 or 2008 Server operating system and technologies such as domains, Active Directory, mail or database systems.
Team member needs to possess a hybrid of skills, they need to actually run a system not just oversee a system
Knowledge of MS Exchange, Lotus Notes, SQL Server, Oracle, Telecommunications, Server Hardware and/or Database platforms is needed.
Prior experience with various testing tools is required.
Experience with TCP/IP-based networking including routers, switches, network topologies, etc. is a must
Familiarity with telephony is highly preferred
