The Capital Group Companies, Inc. is a global leader in investment management. Our businesses encompass The American Funds, one of the largest mutual fund groups in the U.S., and a globally diverse institutional investment group managing large pools of capital such as pensions and endowments. The companies within our organization independently manage more than $1 trillion in assets.
Our Global Portfolio Accounting group (“GPA”) provides superior accounting and operational services to our investors and Capital Group business partners. In addition, you'll be a technical resource to your team, to peers and to other business groups by answering questions, sharing opinions and perspectives, suggesting new and creative ideas, and leading or participating on project teams.
As a fund controller in GPA, you will oversee critical business functions such as NAV calculation, financial statement generation, regulatory reporting, and income/capital gain distributions. You will recommend accounting and operational solutions for our most complex investment transactions and work with others across the organization and service providers to ensure our high standards for quality and excellence are maintained. You will play a key role to support interactions with the fund's Investment Professionals, Auditors, and Independent Directors.
