The Global Security Operations Center Manager has the overall responsibility of the GSOC’s 24x7x365 operation and function, including policy/procedure development and implementation, industry-mandated and security awareness training, and special projects as assigned. The Manager will oversee all elements of quality control, and customer service opportunities, related to program milestones and intended outcomes. This is the lead position in the GSOC. Duties include:

  • Providing trained, qualified, and licensed personnel for the client's GSOC; Staffs all contracted GSOC positions
  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of general, and specific training programs
  • Liaising with the applicable Security Contact
  • Developing general and specific GSOC Standard Operating Procedures
  • Coordinating with the Security Contact to ensure proper utilization and execution of Services
  • Maintaining timely and accurate reporting as required by the Security personnel
  • Developing and implementing programs to enhance supervision, administrative skills, and performance standards
  • Provides back-up, support, and on-call function as-needed
  • Oversees fiduciary responsibilities; ensure adherence to prescribed budgetary agreements
  • Directly assists in developing and maturing the capabilities of the GSOC including support for operations and the intelligence/analytics areas
  • Delivers metrics on performance, output, outcomes, and impact (details TBD)
  • Supports other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with accredited university
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Military, Law Enforcement, Government, Corporate Security or similar role
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a management or supervisory role in Law Enforcement, Military, or Corporate Security Control Room environment
  • Effective time management skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must possess professional experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations
  • A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Impeccable work ethic
  • High degree of integrity
  • General knowledge of Federal and State Employment laws
Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Protection Professional Certification (CPP)
  • Preferred degrees: Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Political Science, Business, Information Security, Information Technology, International Affairs/Relations/Business, Emergency Management or related discipline
  • Basic First Aid/ CPR Training
  • Demonstrated experience in presentation skills to all levels of corporate management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a corporate SOC environment with demonstrated knowledge and experiencing using a variety of security access and alarm monitoring software and/or applications
