Manage professional registration and curatorial organization methods as well as exhibition and catalogue production, including the arrival, unpacking, inventorying, cataloguing, storing, packing, insuring, and shipping of artworks at 80 Washington Square East (WSE), 80 WSE Windows, 80 WSE Broadway Windows and other exhibition work taken on by 80 WSE. Liase with curators, collectors, staff, galleries, institutions and artists to obtain artworks, loan, gallery and insurance forms, data and images required or requested for exhibitions, events and catalogues. Work as needed with MFA, MA, BFA and Graduate exchange students on the logistics and execution of their thesis shows. Assist with gallery installations, receptions and fund-raising events.
Bachelor's Degree in Art or Arts Administration
Master's Degree in Art or Arts Administration.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a professional visual arts environment.
Experience with art documentation, loan and insurance agreements, art handling and installation techniques.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills. Ability to work with a diverse artist population. Knowledge of office software programs. Ability with databases. Proficiency in origination techniques and demonstrated ability in shipping, insuring and properly documenting works of art.

Knowledge of contemporary art. Ability to implement directives and delegate efficiently, ability to maintain a positive work environment, and work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
