Job Title: Gas Systems Technician

Shift: All candidates must be flexible to work days or nights, weekends, and holidays.

Location: Boise, ID

Departmental Responsibilities: Ø

Specialty gas system qualification. Ø

Use analytical equipment to verify that ultra high purity gas distribution systems meet Micron specifications. Ø

Specialty gas system start up Ø

Commissioning and verification of gas delivery equipment including: Gas panels, gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes and liquid delivery systems

Job Qualifications: Ø

Communication skills - able to understand written and verbal instructions (including procedure breakdowns, responding to phone, pager and emails. Ø

Able to read and interpret gas system schematics and piping & instrumentation diagrams. Ø

Specialty gas systems expertise Ø

Expertise with gas system analytical equipment including moisture analyzers and particle measurement systems. Ø

Familiarity with ultra high purity gas delivery systems Ø

Experience with UP-100 controllers and Schumacher liquid delivery systems. Ø

Have good PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ø

Works well with limited supervision Ø

Able to work as a group or alone.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ø

Strong manual dexterity and ability to lift, pull or push objects weighing up to 50lbs. Ø

Ability to work in constrictive attire and sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Ø

Strong hand to eye coordination. Ø

Ability to work at elevated heights (i.e. on ladders, stools or other assistive devices). Ø

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Other Desired Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to pass a background and drug screen
Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Windows and Office knowledge
