The Accounting Manager will assist the Finance Director in the daily operation of the Accounting Department. This position will perform tasks in all areas of Accounting, ranging from standard cost analysis to financial reporting to annual budgeting.

Essential Responsibilities of the Job:
  • Develop standard costing system
  • Generate standard costing reports
  • Perform and maintain all sales and use taxes
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Prepare and file various tax reports
  • Assist in managing AP, AR, Payroll, Inventory, and Fixed Assets
  • Perform general financial reporting
  • Complete and generate general governmental surveys and reports

Essential Skills Needed for the Job:
  • Four Year Accounting Degree — education requirement may be substituted by experience at a standard 2:1 ratio.
  • Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with Windows based accounting software, ERP system (MAS 500 experience a plus)
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
