Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • The General Clerk follows procedures to receive, process, distribute and direct mail; manage issuance, closure, and maintenance of lockbox receptacles, and provide customer service for dormitory, general delivery customers, and operate the customer service window through the PSC, Pope AAF NC. Files documents.
  • Operates Office Equipment
  • Pick-up mail/parcels from the Base Information Transfer Center (BITC) between 1000 and 1100, Monday-Friday. Contractor shall pick up mail from the USPS on Fort Bragg no later than 1000 on Saturdays. Returned outgoing mail will be delivered to BITC by 1100 the following business day.
  • Performs the various tasks necessary for the successful completion of Mail Room responsibilities including, but not limited to:
    • Log packages on delivery sheets
    • Screen, sort, inspect, and prepare mail for delivery
    • Pickup outgoing mail and parcels
    • Read and adhere to all memos and directives of the supervisor.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designated individual
  • Participate in all other training required by funding sources and Corporation, such as Human Rights training.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or Equivalent

Must pass criminal background and drug test. Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge to Ft. Bragg.
